The fast food giants McDonald’s have been forced to apologise for putting up a sign urging people to cross the road for McDonald’s right next to an accident black spot.  The sign which read “McDonald’s, worth crossing the road for” was put up very close to a sign warning road users “Do Not Cross Fatal Accident Site”.

The safety sign was put up in 2003 following the death of two pedestrians who were struck as they tried to cross the dual carriageway.

Thousands of people are injured in road traffic accidents every day.  If you or a member of your family has been involved in a road traffic accident contact our No Win No Fee Lawyers today on 0800 0891331 and we will investigate matters for you  and advise if you have a valid claim for compensation.
