Bruce Shields, PartnerScotland’s award winning personal injury and employment firm, Thompsons Solicitors, are backing Scotland to go all the way and win this weekend’s Coalfield Regeneration Trust (CRT) Home Internationals in Wales.

Thompsons is sponsoring the two teams from north of the border, one from Keloholm in Dumfries and Galloway and one from Tranent, East Lothian.

The tournament is linked to the CRT’s Midnight Leagues Finals, also supported by the personal injury and employment specialist firm, which aims to get kids off the streets and onto the pitch.

The teams will face stiff competition for the trophy from English and Welsh teams when they step out onto the pitch at Cardiff City’s House of Sports complex, but partner at Thompsons Solicitors, Solicitor Advocate Bruce Shields, is confident the cup will be coming to Scotland:

"Both of the Scottish teams are capable of winning this tournament.  They've got the skill and flair to go all the way.

"Thompsons Solicitors is delighted to be sponsoring the Scottish teams at the Home Internationals for another year.

"This event and the midnight leagues are fantastic initiatives to support Coalfield communities and get kids on the pitch and out of trouble.

“Thompsons Solicitors has enjoyed a very close relationship and history with Scotland’s mining communities.

“We will always stand shoulder to shoulder with Scotland’s coal mining communities, and will provide the legal support they need, whether it’s injury caused by a road traffic accident, injury at work, industrial illness or industrial disease, as well as employment law issues”.
