About Aela

Prior to working in the Lung Disease Team, Aela was undertaking her Diploma until March 2023. Throughout the Diploma, Aela undertook an internship which started her interest in Personal Injury law.  Aela also enjoyed volunteering through studying law and was a member of her local university law clinic as well as working with Victim Support Scotland in her local court every week.

Expertise

Throughout Aela's Diploma and internship, she developed an interest in Personal Injury law, and decided to pursue her traineeship in this area.

Aela has always enjoyed the practical aspect of the law clinic through working with clients and she looks forward to developing these skills at Thompsons.  She is interested in the specialised areas that the lung disease team operate in and looks forward to being able to work in such a specialised area and the unique skills she will be able to develop.

Diploma at the University of Strathclyde in 2023

Undergraduate Degree in 2022 in Scots and English LLB
