Aidan Young
Lung Disease Team
Miscellaneous Information

Job Title

Aidan Young is a Trainee Solicitor within the Lung Disease Team in Glasgow.

About Aidan

Aidan works with a variety of clients who suffer from asbestos-related conditions including pleural plaques, asbestosis, pleural thickening, asbestos-related lung cancer and mesothelioma.

He particularly enjoys working closely with clients and getting to know their stories. He believes that at the heart of each case there is always a human being who he is trying to help correct an injustice that has been done to them.

Expertise

Aidan started his career at Thompsons in August 2022 within the Lung Disease Team. He has always had a keen interest in this area of law and wishes to do his best for those who were wrongfully exposed to asbestos by their employers.

He particularly enjoys this area of law as not only does he get to help those who have been wronged, but he also enjoys solving the complexities behind these cases.

During his time studying for his LLB and Diploma of Legal Practise at Strathclyde University, he did a lot of work with the Law Clinic, which helped him cultivate a client-centred approach to casework in a variety of fields but particularly in employment law.
