About Martin

Martin has worked in a variety of legal settings, including a busy criminal law firm as well as legal teams with different local authorities. He first started working in a criminal law office while studying law at University of Strathclyde where he attended cases at both the Sheriff and high Court. He then went on to work as a paralegal in the litigations department at two different local authorities.

Martin enjoys most working with clients and the variety that this brings to his work. Martin prides himself in his ability to keep clients and their families at ease throughout the legal process and working hard for the compensation and justice they deserve.

Expertise

Martin is a Solicitor within the Lung Disease Team. His role involves investigating claims against negligent former employers on behalf of those who have been diagnosed with asbestos-related illnesses. Martin works closely with clients and deals primarily in preparing cases for court during the pre-litigation stage. Martin joined the lung disease team at Thompsons in 2020.
