About Seonaid

Seonaid joined Thompsons in 2012 after completing her diploma in professional legal practice. Initially starting her traineeship in the Lung Disease team, she moved to join the Union Accident team in March 2013. Seonaid is now head of our accident team and continues to act for union members and clients who have been involved in accidents at work, road traffic accidents, accidents offshore and accidents in public places. She also deals with workplace stress claims, assault cases and Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority applications. 

Expertise

Seonaid deals with cases in the Court of Session and All-Scotland Personal Injury Court at Edinburgh, and she has represented clients in summary cause proceedings at Glasgow Sheriff Court and Dumbarton Sheriff Court as well as at a Fatal Accident Inquiry in Ayr Sheriff Court. She has significant experience in dealing with high-value fatal accidents and catastrophic cases.
