About Stephanie

Stephanie is an experienced paralegal, joining Thompsons Solicitors in 2015. She is currently based in the Edinburgh office. She has been specialising in Public Inquiry work since 2018. She ensures that clients whose lives have been severely impacted by their experiences, are heard and that their interests are represented. Prior to working in public inquiries, she was an RTA casehandler, responsible for managing pre litigated cases and working on All Scotland Personal Injury Court cases.  Her cases ranged from minor to life altering injuries, settling a large number and pushing many more successfully through to litigation. She ensures that her clients are justly compensated. 

Expertise

Stephanie worked on a team that represented a large number of core participants  for the UK Blood Inquiry from 2018 – 2021. Since 2021 she has been working on the Scottish Hospital Public Inquiry representing the patients and families who have been impacted by the environmental conditions at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.  Stephanie provides advice to clients with ongoing inquiry matters and is involved with reviewing the complicated arising legal issues.  She works with clients to support and assist them during an inquiry’s investigation ensuring that their position is fully represented.

BA Sociology with Hons (2003)

Specialist Paralegal qualification: Graduate Diploma in Law (2015)
