Having joined Thompsons in October 2012 as an administrative assistant within the lung disease team, Tracey Anne became a paralegal in 2013 and joined the pre-litigation department within the team.

Tracey Anne's role within the department involves the investigation of claims against the former employers of clients who have been diagnosed with asbestos-related pleural plaques claims.

The pre-litigation team must fully investigate claims for clients who have been exposed to asbestos through no fault of their own and have gone on to be diagnosed with asbestos illnesses. Tracey Anne and her colleagues undertake many forensic investigations as a result of the long latency period between exposure to asbestos and the development of symptoms.
